A clever bit of calligraphy produced a Japanese-like character to form the basis of the logo. The club was delighted with the simulation of the brushstrokes by the marquetry components, fine hairline cuts nicely supplementing the marquetry to give accurate reproduction at small scale - the circle is 67mm diameter.
